Dick Hagen Memorial Service
We are saddened to share that long time member Dick Hagen, age 84, passed away at home yesterday. A celebration of his life will be held this Saturday, January 11th at 11am here at All Saints. Visitation at the church begins at 10am. Lunch will be served after the service in Fellowship Hall.
Dick was born in McIntosh, MN, to parents Joseph and Harriette (Jorgenson) Hagen. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in McIntosh and graduated from McIntosh High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN, in 1963. Dick proudly served in the Air National Guard. Dick was united in marriage to Karen June Hegland on August 22, 1964, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in McIntosh, MN. Dick worked for General Mills for 35 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Karen; son, Daniel (Jan), of Wheaton, IL; daughter in law Deana, of Chaska, MN; 7 grandchildren, Brendan (Anna), Lauren, Morgan, Griffin, Daniel (Maggie), Erika, and Darby. Also survived by 3 siblings, Mars (Pam) of Apple Valley, MN, Deanne Benson, of Thief River Falls, MN, and Karen (Pat) Rolf, of McIntosh, MN; sister-in-law Judy Hagen of McIntosh, MN; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Mark, two brothers, Ronald and David, two sisters, Joanne Carver and Yvonne Larson, and two brothers-in-law, Rudy Larson and Gordy Benson.
In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to ICA of Minnetonka.
