August Wellness Focus: Emotional Wellness
Emotional wellness is that ability to handle life’s stressors. Emotions that bring us both “up” and “down” are natural given what we are experiencing. Cultivating emotional wellness includes strategies such as mindfulness, connection, and gratitude that bring a sense of being part of something bigger than ourselves, helping us see our emotions from a new perspective.
