  • COVID-19 worship UPDATES

The council met in May following the CDC’s announcement of loosened mask guidelines and set July as a timeline for resuming indoor, in-person services. Sunday, July 18, will be our first Sunday back together inside our sanctuary. As vaccinations continue to roll out to children and more adults, our hope is that this will allow for a fuller and safer experience for as many of our congregation as possible.
Beginning in June, masks will not be required for outdoor services due to the much lower risks associated with outdoor activities, but we will ask people to keep 6 feet of distance as we invite people to sing and fully participate at these services. All who are more comfortable wearing a mask are very welcome to do so! We do anticipate requiring masks for all indoor services during the initial weeks or months of being back inside. This is to allow for the higher risk singing and the unison speaking elements of the service that we’re all accustomed to indoors. It also provides an experience that the largest number of people will feel comfortable attending. Further details on all of the safe practices we’ll be following will be shared in the coming weeks. It’s been a long year and we want to thank you for your continued patience and commitment to our ministry over this last year. It’s greatly appreciated!

Continue to join us for worship on this website, our Facebook page, and YouTube on Sundays at 9am and 11am or on-demand to fit your schedule! For outdoor worship, there is one service at 10am.
