This Statement of Privacy applies to the All Saints Lutheran Church Web site and e-News and governs data collection and usage. By using the All Saints Lutheran Church Web site and/or e-News, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

For adult members, with their permission, we list names, email addresses and/or phone numbers when they are a contact for some group or activity that we are featuring on the Web site.

For youth and children, we do not list names, first or last. We also do not list addresses, email addresses or phone numbers.

Photos

When using photos of All Saints Lutheran Church events, attendees, or members – either directly on the Web site or in our photo albums – we use the following guidelines:

We will not post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable or hurtful to anyone in the photo. We will always honor anyone’s desire not to be photographed.

We won’t put names as captions with photos (except for pastors/staff or adult members who have given their consent). We never include names of children on photo captions.

We will include a “Child Photo Policy” statement regarding photos on all registration forms for any church events that include children. Example – “We may take photos of this event for use on our church website or e-News. If you DO NOT want your child’s picture used for such purposes, please indicate your restrictions here. Your child will not be identified by name.” (Blank indicates okay).

When photographing church events, we will make a good faith effort to inform event attendees that we may take photos for use on the Website and/or e-News. This could include posting signs indicating we are photographing for church e-News and/or website, putting a notice in the bulletin or event flyer, or making an announcement.

We will not photograph any events where the individuals have the expectation of privacy or where they might not want to be publicly identified (i.e., support groups).

We will gladly remove any photo immediately upon request. Contact the church office by email or phone (952.934.3550).

We will gladly provide credit for whomever took a particular photo if desired by the photographer.
