Support and care for each other

BeFrienders

Lay ministers visit people in hospitals, those shut-in, and families in mourning. BeFrienders can deliver communion to those unable to come to church. Call the church office (952.934.3550) to be put in contact with a BeFriender.

Martha Circle

Women meet for mutual support and service. The gathering includes Bible study, social time, discussion of projects and dessert.

Meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday, September through May, from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.

 

OWLS (Older Wiser Lutheran Saints)

An informal fellowship group of adults ages 55 or older. Singles and couples are welcome. Events are planned six to eight times a year.

 

 

Prayer Group

Scripture and Prayer

Meet Thursdays at 7:15 a.m., to lift up the All Saints congregation.

Individual prayer needs may be submitted  here to be forwarded to the pastors.

 Prayer shawl ministry

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Shawls give solace and let people know others care for them during difficult times. Participants knit prayer shawls to give as a blessing and healing for people facing life and health challenges.

Meet twice monthly on the first and third Wednesdays from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

 

Quilting Groups

Outreach Quilters create tied quilts for children at Casa Hogar Elim in Mexico and others in need, such as residents at Caring and Sharing Hands and families using food shelves. No experience needed. Donations of fabric and sheets often accepted.

Meet on Tuesdays, September – May, from 12:30 – 3 p.m.

  Special Moments Quilters create quilts for children being baptized at All Saints and families receiving homes through Habitat for Humanity assisted by All Saints workers. The group also provides small quilted pillows for those who are home-bound. No experience needed.

Meet on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

 Saints Men’s Group

These men are dedicated to strengthening faith in Jesus Christ through fellowship, support and outreach, and committed to serving All Saints through special projects.

Meet monthly on the first Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Perkins’ Restaurant near the Country Village Center on Highway 7 in Hopkins.
