Crossroads Wednesday Night Worship
Wednesday night worship is a big part of Crossroads! Worship nights begin in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m. for large group time, which consists of worship, a skit, and teaching. This year’s teaching will be on the New Testament.
After the large group gathering, youth are organized into small groups, which is always a favorite part. Each group has an adult Guide and a Junior Guide who lead the group in discussion.
Crossroads Faith Mentoring Program
All Crossroads youth will participate in the Faith Mentoring 101 program during Lent. The program, a highlight for youth and mentors, is designed to give youth an opportunity to form a relationship/friendship with an adult member of the congregation. Youth will ask an adult member of the congregation to be their faith mentor. They will meet together a minimum of 4 times before or after a Wednesday night Holden Evening Prayer service. There will be an orientation session for all youth, mentors and parents on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.
Each year Crossroads youth participate in retreats by grade. Retreats are a great part of Crossroads where we get out of town for 30 hours and connect during large and small group times, devotions, theme parties, games, high and low ropes courses, and more.
