Crossroads Confirmation Ministry (Grades 7 – 9)
Crossroads is a confirmation ministry for 7th, 8th and 9th grade students. It begins in the fall and runs through the school year. Crossroads teens meet on Wednesday nights, and participate in retreats, service projects and other activities.
Crossroads Parent/Youth Potluck with Speaker
Wed., Jan. 10, 5:45 p.m.
Crossroads youth, parents of youth Guides and Junior Guides will meet in Fellowship Hall for this family night of Crossroads. Each family should bring a dish to share. This can be a main dish, appetizer, salad or dessert. Please no chips without dip and no pretzels. Following dinner we will move into the Sanctuary for a time of worship and to hear from this year’s speaker Josh Miller. Josh is the director of senior high ministries at Westwood Community Church in Shorewood, MN. He will be talking with us and giving tools about intriguing faith into the home along with the influence smart phones and social media has on families and youth, how to create boundaries and openness when it comes to today’s technology. The evening will conclude by 8 p.m.

Crossroads Wednesday Night Worship
Wednesday night worship is a big part of Crossroads! Worship nights begin in the Sanctuary at 6:45 p.m. for large group time, which consists of worship, a skit, and teaching. This year’s teaching will be on the New Testament.
After the large group gathering, youth are organized into small groups, which is always a favorite part. Each group has an adult Guide and a Junior Guide who lead the group in discussion.
Crossroads Wednesday Evening Schedule for 2017-18
Dinner is Served—5:30 – 6:30
Come and enjoy food from local restaurants like: Noodles and Company, Royal Subs, Gina Maria pizza and more. Cost for dinner is $5 each, all are welcome!
Crossroads Large Group Time – 6:45 – 7:15
Crossroads Small Group Time – 7:15 – 8 p.m.
Each year Crossroads youth participate in retreats by grade. Retreats are a great part of Crossroads where we get out of town for 30 hours and connect during large and small group times, devotions, theme parties, games, high and low ropes courses, and more.
7th Grade Retreat: September 16, 2017

Crossroads Faith Mentoring Program
All Crossroads youth will participate in the Faith Mentoring 101 program during Lent. The program, a highlight for youth and mentors, is designed to give youth an opportunity to form a relationship/friendship with an adult member of the congregation. Youth will ask an adult member of the congregation to be their faith mentor. They will meet together a minimum of 4 times before or after a Wednesday night Holden Evening Prayer service. There will be an orientation session for all youth, mentors and parents on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 6:45 p.m. For more information on the mentoring program click here.
Junior High Fellowship (Grades 7 – 9)
Junior High Fellowship is open to all 7th – 9th grade students and meets throughout the year. This is an opportunity to break free from school and confirmation classes to have some fun! Activities include bowling, skiing, ice skating, movie nights and more.
Whitewasher (Grades 7–12)
Saturday, Jan. 13, 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Enjoy a day of skiing or snowboarding at Afton Alps. Depart from All Saints at 10 a.m. and return by 8:30 p.m. Cost is $52, plus $25 to rent equipment. Registration forms are located here. Submit forms to the church office by Thursday, January 11.
WAPO Bible Camp (Grades 3 – 12)

Camp WAPO (Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp in Amery, WI) is open for all youth who are entering 3rd through 9th grade in the fall of the upcoming year. Register online at www.campwapo.org. Campers are invited to encounter Christ through Bible studies, games, small group time, skits and more. Youth entering Grades 9 – 12 may come to WAPO as T.I.M. (Teens in Mission) teamers. Senior High youth go through a week of leadership training at camp and return committed to serve in their church for the upcoming year.
30 Hour Famine
February 23 – 24, 2018
Youth and friends grades 7 – 12 are invited to participate in the annual 30 hour famine. The 30 hour famine is a weekend of fasting from food and learning about hunger and hunger related diseases. The weekend is spent doing service projects, playing games, growing closer to God, having fun and making new friends! Famine packets will be available at All Saints next to the youth board in January.
Youth Choir (Grades 6 – 12)
Youth Choir meets Wednesday evenings from 6 – 6:45 p.m. and is directed by Jim Hild.
